These superb Argon thermal gardening gloves have a double insulated nylon liner with a Hydropellent foam coating, designed to protect, when working in cold and damp conditions. The sanitized antimicrobial finish provides extra freshness and remains flexible to -50c.
Hypothermia is a dangerous drop in body temperature, usually caused by prolonged exposure to cold temperatures. The risk of cold exposure in the garden increases as the winter months arrive. But if you're exposed to cold temperatures on a spring hike or capsized on a summer sail, you can also be at risk of hypothermia.
Normal body temperature averages 98.6 degrees. With hypothermia, core temperature drops below 95 degrees. In severe hypothermia, core body temperature can drop to 82 degrees or lower.
It’s important to stay protected against a drop in temperature as cold weather can affect your body’s ability to fight off viruses and infections. By keeping warm, you can help yourself stay well this winter.
